Chapter 25. Surrendering to Him

Ben dropped Victoria home and drove away. Victoria went up to her apartment, oblivious to the fact that Ryan followed her all the way back. She unlocked her apartment and walked inside. Dumping her backpack, she walked into her washroom to take a refreshing shower. Thankfully, during the entire trip, Ben sulked and wasn't in the mood to talk much. Victoria too was in a similar mood and didn't even make any attempt at starting a conversation with him.

Afterward, she sat with her studies when the doorbell rang. Thinking it to be Dylan who had returned home, she opened the door. However, in place of Dylan stood a pissed-off Ryan. Victoria groaned and walked into the house. She had wanted to avoid him at all cost and here he was again to disturb her.

"Why did you come home in such a hurry? You didn't even tell me before leaving," he complained.
