Chapter 27. Pregnant and Rejected

However, even after four days, Victoria's condition didn't improve at all but only got worse. Dylan was concerned and wanted to take her to the doctor, but Victoria wanted to wait for another day. 

"If I don't get better by today, I'll surely go to the doctor, " she said weakly as she lay on the bed, unable to get up. She hadn't been able to go to college for four days. Thankfully, her assessments were over and she could afford to take a few days off. 

"Fine, but you don't look very hopeful," said Dylan.

"I'll move back home when mom and dad return, Dy, " croaked Victoria. Dylan looked surprised by her announcement.

"Why? Will you go home and complain to them about me?" he asked in disbelief.

"No, I just want to go home," she told him, feeling too tired to argue. 

"But they've extended their stay by another week," informed Dylan. The news disappointed Victoria.
