Chapter 33. Uniting with His Family

“It’s no use, Ryan. I’m not going back with you,” said Victoria, stubbornly. The children came rushing out of the room and stopped behind Victoria, peeping at Ryan. He gazed at them, his heart swelling with love. He kneeled down to their level.

“Hello, little ones!” he said tenderly. “Do you know who I am?” he asked them. They shook their heads, looking at their mommy. Victoria was quiet as she watched him with wide eyes. 

“I'm your dad,” said Ryan softly. “I came to take all of you home with me. We’ll all cuddle and live together. Do you want to live with your mommy and daddy?” he asked. Victoria felt her eyes prick with hot tears, threatening to fall any minute.
