Chapter 13. Alexis Leaves Home

Ten days later, Alexis was all packed and ready to go away to Austin. Nate had apologized to her many times after learning the truth from Annalise and Victoria, but Alexis was adamant. She couldn’t stay in Houston any longer. Her heart was crushed again and again ever since she had arrived here and she wanted to be free now. 

“Alex, do come and visit me sometimes,” said an unhappy Annalise. Alexis nodded and hugged her sister.

"Of course, I’ll come to see you. I’m not going away forever," she said, hugging her sister. After she’d sent that last message to Drake, he had called her many times, but she didn’t want to talk to him. He messaged her also, but she didn’t reply to anything. She was tired of the two brothers! She took a cab and went away finally, free from all drama, free from Nate and Drake, finally to start a life of her own.
