Chapter 15. At Drake's Apartment

“What were you doing outside my campus?” asked Alexis, snatching her hand away and glaring at him as she strapped herself to the passenger seat of his car. Drake climbed in with a small smile on his face. After an entire night of tossing and turning, he wanted to convince her somehow and bring her along with him to his spacious apartment. The moment he alighted from his car, he was surprised to see Alexis walking out of the campus with her luggage. It made him excited despite knowing that something disastrous might have made Alexis take this extreme step. But he wouldn’t ask her now! It would make her escape to wherever she was off.

“I just was coming to see where you were living,” he shrugged. “I thought of taking you out for breakfast,” smirked Drake. He couldn’t tell her he was going to her dorm to whisk her away!
