Chapter 13. Drake and Alexis Visit Nate

Nate turned to glare at Aries. He didn't need Alexis’s pity, nor did he need Drake’s concern or lecture. He could handle his own sh*tty life! 

“Why did you call them Aries?” he yelled angrily, making Andrea hide behind Aries. 

“I was scared, bro. You asked me not to inform everyone at home, so I was at my wit’s end. So I called Drake,” he told him, looking a little nervous. Nate had a foul mouth and a very short temper, which seemed to get fueled by almost anything these days. 

“I wasn’t dying, for God’s sake! What was there to be scared of? I don’t see why you and Claire are overreacting. It’s just an accident, okay?” said Nate, looking pissed off.

“I saw you walk towards the car with the intention of getting hit,” Claire pointed out calmly.
