Chapter 35. Ending Chris' Story

For the next few minutes, the three brothers discussed a plan of action as discreetly as possible, ensuring that there was no one to overhear them. The table was laid, and they were all preparing to start the toasts and speeches. They all walked over to the table. Nate saw Claire sitting between Victoria and Andrea. He noted the way she avoided looking at him with the spy roaming all over the place. 

Afterward, the dance floor was readied for the first dance, and Drake and Alexis performed extremely well. The first dance ended with a loud round of applause and Nate looked around for Claire, who hid behind his mom. He winked at her and thought of dealing with her later after the cake-cutting was over.
