Chapter 23. Craving a Kiss

The next morning Vienna woke up late. When she went down to the kitchen to get coffee, it was already 8 o'clock in the morning. The boys had gone to a nearby animal camp to check out the animals that had been rescued, treated, and rehabilitated. Uncle Henry and his brothers had gone out fishing. Ma and Aunt Pauline were sitting and chatting while aunt Patricia was giving Timmy and Queen a bath.

"Come and sit, sweetie. Did you sleep well last night?" asked aunt Pauline with a knowing smile.
