Chapter 27. Meeting Allison

The next day, Sean was feeling much better. He was up early and sipping his coffee and talking to ma when Vienna went downstairs. She didn't look at him and went into the kitchen to get her own coffee. Drake, Denver, and Timmy went out for a jog around the neighborhood.

"Den's up so early?" asked ma, her eyes popping out with surprise.

They all peeped outside the large bay windows and sure enough, there was Sapphire going out of her house for a jog, too. Ma facepalmed and shook her head.

"This boy's sure to get us into trouble," she said.

"Don't worry so much, ma. Let him be," said Sean, sipping his coffee.

"Is Stuart coming home today with Allison?" asked Vienna, as she sat with ma. She could feel Sean's gaze upon her, but she completely ignored him.

"Yes, later we'll have to plan the dinner menu. I've invited the whole family for a get-together. Pauline and Patricia also want to meet Allison," said ma. Vienna nodded.
