Chapter 15. Her Troubles

Ashley’s POV

It’s been days since I’ve been staying over at my mother’s house guarded by the wolves of the Royal pack. I keep telling myself that it’s going to be alright, my mother and I will be safe for as long as they are around. I still feel like being a pawn for the Royal pack since there are bad wolves who wants to harm me instead of going after Prince Vincent, I haven’t upset anyone and yet there’s too many who wanted to take me in order to get him.

As for my mother, she is safe and have not been bothered or threatened by anyone. However, she is deeply affected by the threat to my safety.

“Ashley sweetie, I am heading out now. Please don’t get bored too much, there’s a lot of things you can do while here in the house but please don’t leave the premises.”
