Chapter 68
“I want every warrior in here lined up now,” I shouted as I rode into the center. Father had been standing silently in the center with a few of the elders, my troops surrounding them by the thousands. I still felt a bit hesitant to leave the lands without the army.
Father’s strict instructions were to take them all. I’d tried to argue with him—the lands could not stay unprotected. If I were to take all of my warriors, as well as the fae army, our home would be defenseless. There was no guarantee that the vampires wouldn’t just turn around and attack us. Will had left with most, if not all, of his, leaving only a few to guard the gates and act as his spies.
