It took us roughly eighteen minutes before the rows of SUVs parked in front of the landing strip. Killian had effortlessly fallen into a deep slumber, occasionally letting out a snore or two. The door to my left opened to reveal Andrew.
“We’ve arrived.”
“Shhhh, not so loud.” It took Andrew a moment to notice that the giant Alpha was cozily sleeping on my chest, his face hidden by the long curly waves that flooded it.
“He’s asleep?” Andrew asked, awe lacing his voice. “He looks so peaceful. Usually, he’d be chewing my ear off about interrupting him.”
I laughed. “Yeah, he tends to do that a lot.”
“No, not a lot. He mostly does that when you’re close. I can see that he’s really protective of you.”
