Chapter 64. Wolves

I closed my eyes and sucked in the humid air. The intruder cut the central air system. My home never rose above 60 degrees Celsius.
It's about 90 + degrees right now, and I couldn't stop sweating, blinding my eyes as the faint glow of my night light illuminates the words Holy Bible.
Everything came full circle against the beliefs you turned your back on, beliefs you cut out of your life, when you sold your soul.
I should have thought of this at a much earlier date in my life, but my burning desire to succeed, my dying wish to be everything my grimy parents could never be left a lot of casualties behind.
If I stopped right now and looked back I would see the dead bodies lining my path, blood dripping from tree leaves, dripping its deadly poison towards God's green earth.
