Chapter 31
By the time they got to the stones where Ash was supposed to begin the invoking of their ancestors, Myan had partially dozed off.
Ash arranged some leaves onto the floor so he could carry on without having to unnecessarily focus on her. She didn’t wait for a second to pass before closing her eyes as soon as her head hit the floor.
Ash took his shirt off and clenched his fists by his sides, taking a deep breath before pulling his pants down, leaving his manhood protected by the small leaves he had wrapped them with earlier.
He went on his knees and began the ceremony.

Myan slowly fluttered her eyes open, groaning hard at the bright light when she attempted to open her eyes fully.
The sun was up, and Ash was kneeling in front of her. She sat up and rubbed her eyes on repeat, trying to find her consciousness. She found that the drops of liquid on her skin were from his sweaty face.
“Wake up,” he said.
