Elara POV
I look the woman up and down, trying to see the resemblance between us. We do have the same blonde hair, but that is the only trait we share. Certainly, my mother would have told me if she had another child. That can only mean she is Ares’s daughter.
“I don’t have a sister,” I growl, inching my way toward her.
“But you do,” she laughs. “In fact, I would guess you have many.”
I try to slip into her mind, but she has built her walls so expertly that it would take me days, if not weeks, to break through them. She smirks and raises her hand in the air. “Stay out of my mind or he dies.”
I back away, taking my power with me. The stream of water pulses around Zeke’s neck. He tries to claw at the water, but it is of no use. Her powers are too strong.
