The First Conversation

She missed Dominic, but he didn’t. He didn’t even seem to care about her existence anymore. He didn’t look at her the way he used to whenever he spotted her. He just didn’t seem interested anymore. Maybe she should just go back to New York and spend the rest of her life there... as if she could...
