Chapter 19

"Mommy!" Elijah's voice called out to her, and for a brief moment, she was convinced that it was a dream. However, the voice returned, and this time it said, "Mommy!" 

The very next instant, she became aware that she was no longer sleeping alone in bed when she felt her bed sink. She opened her eyes, and the first thing that she saw was Elijah and Michael lying on the bed next to her. The Lycan king had granted her a day off, and she was making the most of it. As a result, she desired to return to sleep even after she had gotten up to take a bath and eat breakfast. She was unsure as to whether what she was seeing at that moment was a dream or a real thing. 

"What?" She rubbed her eyes. She realized it wasn't a dream. Truly, they were there. 

"Mommy!" When Micheal called out to her, her son moved forward and removed her hand from when it was touching her face. The actions he took validated her perceptions. 

"We're here, mom. Wake up!" Cackled, Eli
