It had been more than five years since Scarlett had last seen him, and this was the first time she had seen him since she had arrived at the pack. The image caused her heart to skip a beat, and she pondered the significance of what she had seen. Is there something that he has learned about them? Because there was no way to determine whether or not he had accomplished anything in such a manner, she did not want to be concerned about it. 

The fact that the Lycan king was with her sons, having fun and playing with them, was a source of concern for her. She could not help but feel anxious about the situation. Nothing like that existed; he would have no idea about it. As she continued to stare at him, she came to the realization that the boys did not resemble him. Furthermore, she told her that everyone who had seen the boys ever since they were able to walk told her that they looked so much like her. Since then, she had clung to that belief, and even now, as she stared at the Lycan
