“Are you still here?” he asked angrily.

“I was just on my way out,” she said meekly. “Didn’t you just get back home?” she asked, feigning ignorance. “Where are you off to again?”

“From the looks of it, you are going out to dinner, should I come along?” she asked.

“Fuck off, Valerie and don’t let me see you, ever again!” he said. “Or, I shall destroy you!” as he got to the door, he turned back, “pray you don’t have a hand in what is happening now or you shall regret it and if any harm comes to either Alexa or her pups, you shall answer to me!” And he was out the door.
