Chapter 3

“Sly, take me somewhere I can relax, somewhere with fine babes” Noah sputters, massaging his nasal bone with his thumb and index finger. “Ah oga sir, that is not a problem at all, I'll take you Truce, they have all shapes and sizes, tall, short and stunning” The driver responds excitedly. “There, anyone you want, you get” he continues. “Sounds interesting” Noah replies.

As they drive off to Mrs. Linda's nightclub, Noah receives another call from a business client, requesting to see him as soon as possible. This changes the entire plan. “Well, Sly, the plan has changed, take me to Makeup. Business before pleasure. You'll take me to that remarkable place some other time, ok?” Noah utters with a sheepish smile. “Yes, boss” Sly replies with a smile.

After five days of rest at Linda's house, Genie feels better and is excited to resume work at Linda's club. “Are you sure you're strong enough to perform tonight?” Linda asks Genie as they get ready to go to the club. “Yes Linda, I was born ready” Genie sputters, “Ok then” exhilarated, she responds.

Upon arrival at the club, Linda calls Kelly Cruz, one of her strippers, to bring Genie up to speed. Kelly, from the first interaction, feels threatened by the mere sight of Genie. Genie is everything she wants to be that she's not. Genie is prettier, sexier, younger, and taller. “Follow me” Kelly Saucily calls Genie leading the way.

“I hear you'll be performing tonight, have you ever done this before?” Sputters Kelly as they walked to the practice hall.

“Nope, I've always dreamed of being a firefighter but” Genie replies but is brusquely curtailed by Kelly, “No one cares about your dreams ok, have you ever performed? That is the question” Kelly sputters, portraying an annoying supercilious expression.

“No” Genie replies. “And you want to perform tonight?” Kelly replies with a scornful laugh. “You know we're expecting an exceptional guest tonight, and I don't want you to mess things up for me, anyway let me see what you got” Kelly plays music and stands back to watch Genie's performance.

Genie is a great dancer, even Kelly knows that she dances better than her. Her envy for Genie intensifies, knowing she'll attract all men to herself. Genie has it all in terms of beauty and performs way better than Kelly. Kelly leaves the room abruptly as Genie performs.

Genie doesn't seem to care about Kelly's attitude towards her, after all, Linda has her back. She continues dancing, preparing for her show tonight. Linda comes in slow clapping, she's thrilled at Genie's performance. Genie, noticing Linda's presence, stops the music and graciously goes towards her. “You beat my expectations, Genie” Linda utters gaily.

Genie smiles, looking down timidly. “We're expecting an important guest at the club tonight, Cameroon's most eligible bachelor” sputters Linda gleefully. “What's his name?” Genie asks, “Noah Khalil, he just came back last week to celebrate his birthday and his Colorado mansion” Linda answers.

“I know him, wow, he'll be here?” Genie sputters with an ecstatic tone. “Yes, and you'll put up your best show to impress him, I trust you'll make me proud” Linda utters, “Of course, I won't let you down” Genie assures her.

Noah is a very popular businessman, he appears on TV shows and is all over social media. Genie has been following him on social media and TV, she can't believe she'll be performing before the high and mighty Noah Khalil. This makes her nervous and excited at the same time.

“Ok go and freshen up, everything you need is in the dressing room, your costume, shoes, and wig; there are many to choose from. The makeup artist will be here in a couple of minutes”, Linda sputters. “Sure” Genie replies and goes to freshen up.

The makeup artist has just finished making up both Genie and Kelly. They're to perform together in a couple of minutes. Kelly keeps looking at Genie from hair to toe jealously. Their makeups are both nice, but comparatively, it suits Genie better. Genie looks stunning and charming.

“You've never seen a glowing babe before?” Genie asks, teasing Kelly, “And you're the glowing babe?” Kelly splutters and sighs. Genie is more confident about herself, looking at her stunning appearance in the mirror. She's fully aware of Kelly's insecurities but ignores them and rather uses them to poke fun at her.

Noah's driver had informed Pamela, Linda's nightclub manager who happens to be an old friend, that he'll be coming with Noah. Noah is not aware that his driver has notified the club about his coming. He gets attention everywhere he goes, so it doesn't surprise him to hear the DJ calling out his name during the show, welcoming him to Truce.

There's bawling at the club when the DJ announces Noah's presence. You can see ladies adjusting their breasts to stand firm, others checking up their makeup on their portable mirrors to be certain they're perfect enough for Noah, just In case he notices them. The D. J introduces Genie and Kelly to the audience as those that will be performing tonight.

The bawling increases but reduces as the music starts for both girls to perform. They're both putting in their best to impress the audience. The club is well-lit with rainbow colors, but the yellow reflects just on the performers.

Genie handles pole dancing and stripping like a pro. She's seen it done by others, but strips like she's been doing it for years. All eyes are on her, men are sweating in their panties. Genie's performance enraptures Linda. “I can never let this go, such talent” she ponders. News about the new stripper is already all over social media. After the performance, Pamela, popularly known as Pam, calls Genie to give her payment for the day. “I thought you pay monthly”, Genie asks feeling amazed “Yes that's how they pay in this country, but here we pay you after each performance” Pam replies. Linda pays her workers generously, that's why they're all very sedulous.
