"Very well," intones the alpha, his voice a low rumble of thunder. "We'll do it your way, Miss. But remember, we despise wasted effort almost as much as we hate wasting time. And if you fail us, there will be consequences.”

Lara meets his gaze with steely resolve. "I won't fail," she vows. "Claire's company will fall, and we will emerge victorious."
