Chapter 207. Gentle Savior

Upon arriving at Zach’s mansion, they quickly set their plan into action. Carter opens the Car's bonnet and disconnects a few things from the engine, just enough to make the car fail to start, although still easy to repair.

Lara, on the other hand, sits in the car, waiting patiently for Zach to arrive while Carter disguises himself as a random smoker at one corner of the road. They both linger on like criminals while contemplating the success of their mission.

About ten minutes later, Zach arrives, alighting his car and heading for the gate! The shady duo straighten themselves up. It's go time!

As Zach approaches his gate, he is surprised to see another car in front of his house. Out of caution, he withdraws back into his car. He has learned of the various methods assassins use to get their prey. And his car is bulletproof.

He honks at the car, flickering the headlamps while cursing under his breath, wishing his driver f did not take sick leave.
