Chapter 277. Midnight Obsession

By the time Leo and co arrive, Zach is exhausted and unaware of how much of a mess he looks.

“Hey, man,” Albert rushes to him as soon as he steps out of the vehicle. “You’re not even supposed to be out here. What are you doing?”

“Going to Lara's house,” he answers platonically, strolling to the car and ignoring the puzzle on his friends’ faces. They exchange glances amongst themselves.

“You don’t expect me to drive, do you?” He blurts out with a nonchalant shrug when he notices that no one has made a move. Then the men all get into the car with Leo in the driver’s seat again.

Leo doesn’t bother asking anymore questions seeing that Zach is not particularly cheerful at the moment, and just drives straight in the direction of Lara's house, leaving the mechanic and the driver behind, exhaling deeply with relief.

After a while, Albert, sitting beside Zach, notices Zach’s discomfort. He observes bloodstains on Zach's shirt and his eyes widen.<
