Chapter 6
MADELYN’S POV
I noticed that there were barely any cars coming through the road. Cars probably hardly went through this road because with the road blocked this way and both of us fighting for our rights, someone would have come and told us to leave.
I folded my arms across my chest while waiting patiently for whoever it was that he called while he kept staring at his wristwatch every once in a while, tapping on his feet.
Looking at him now made me angry because how could he act this way? He knew me, and I knew him, and he was acting like I was nobody and didn’t give a fuck about me, and it was pissing me off.
Why was I bothered that he didn’t care about me? It’s not like he mattered to me anymore. He was just someone I should continue to hate, and right now, because of the anger I felt toward him, I would make sure that he paid for the damages to my car.
And to think the time I was wasting here could be used to find evidence to prove that the will wasn’
