An hour later, Alpha Maddox felt like it was too late, but he was still waiting on Beta Leon. He had shared his location already, even though his phone was now off.

Yeah, he had fulfilled his promise to the Omega about them having the time of their lives, but he now wanted to take her home. She had blacked out and was lying right next to him, her head on his lap. She had no idea what was going on, and for it being her first time drinking, he was impressed. But yeah, he wanted her home in a soft and warm bed right now.

But Leon just wouldn’t show up, and it was not like Maddox could just take her outside and drive them home. That would be dangerous and illegal. So he had no choice but to wait.

While doing so, his eyes landed on someone walking in their direction. At first, he felt like it was his Beta, but it wasn’t. It was Elijah.
