Chapter 151

Gabbie POV

“Is the baby making you jealous? I’m not complaining, I love it.” 

I rolled my eyes and placed my pills on the nightstand near my side of the bed.

“She shouldn’t even be here,” I grumbled.

“Hey, look at me.”

If I looked there, then my defences would fall.

“What?” my voice cracked.

“I love you, you know that, right?”

I nodded.

His palm pressed my flat belly. I covered his hand with mine. I couldn’t wait to feel the baby kick or his hand press against my tummy. It was early days, but I couldn’t wait to see his or her face.  He rubbed my flat belly and cracked a smile.

"It's incredible," Kade whispered.

"The baby?" I asked.

"Yeah and us being parents. The Gabriella who slapped a beta at McGregor Academy is carrying my baby."

I blushed and looked back at our joined hands over my stomach.
