Stormy POV

A lot of things weren’t right here like the fact Reid was a wolf too! And Alex’s overprotective and jealous nature. I didn’t break up with him he left me.

“Why would you do that? He was our foster brother, our friend.”

Reid clenched his teeth. “Don’t you remember a damn thing that happened that night?”

“Of course not!”

“Fuck. You were drunk. He took you into the forest but the sexual nature of what happened drew out your wolf. He tried to kill you. I had no choice.”

“All this time I thought I ripped him apart,” my voice cracked and my eyes filled with tears.

“I had no choice Stormy. There are only a handful of wolves in Westly. Conner was human so the idea of another person turning into an animal freaked him out. Your wolf was so dazed and out of it. It could barely defend itself.”

Alex’s hand landed on my shoulder and squeezed. “Why did you run then? Stormy was captured not you.”
