Stormy POV

“What do you mean missing? Didn’t I see her yesterday?”

“Yesterday we ruffled your Uncle’s feathers this might be his dirty work,” Ryan responded.

“Fuck! This is the last thing I wanted.”

“Are you sure she’s missing and not messing around? This is Xena we’re talking about,” I chimed in.

Ryan nodded. “We’ve looked everywhere.”

“Then you should talk to Xavier. He knows everything.”

Ryan and Alex exchanged a look. “We’ll talk to him nicely,” Alex smirked and I knew he didn’t mean it. “We’ll be right back. Your friends are here. They were worried about you.”

“Hazel and Elise?”

Oh, Elise must be furious that we didn’t escape!

Alex kissed my cheek and whispered in my ear. “You don’t have to go downstairs at all you could wait in the bedroom until I come back.”

“And how long will that be?”

“If you wait naked I could be back in ten minutes,” he teased.

I swatted his arm playfully. “Go.”
