“The beta army’s been deployed to the town to keep everyone safe,” Ryan said.

I nodded. I was on my second glass of vodka. It burned on it's way down my throat. I needed something stronger to cope with my emotions. Tristan was sending troops, and Kade’s wolves were on their way. Yet, here I was drowning myself in alcohol.

The Henry Pack had been penetrated. Evans' wolves had infiltrated the pack and scattered. I had to keep my pack safe, but I had to keep Gareth safe.
