Stormy POV

“Are you sick or something?” I asked.

I created as much space between us that was possible in the small lab.

I had nothing else to ask. This man appeared to be a cleaner version of Salazar. They were both older men, salt and pepper hair, and the hair was combed back neatly. There was a slight difference in the way they spoke, but that could be easily changed.

Dr Montez (allegedly) crossed his arms over his chest. “Salazar will be here to continue his tests on you. He’s hoping I haven’t gotten to you yet.”

“Prove that you’re not faking it.”

He marched past me and opened a drawer. He pulled out a square picture of two men in their youth. They were identical twins. They didn't walk the same, I noticed. This was crazy. 

“Okay… you’re twins. How can you both claim to be my father? Explain that?”

“Because I told my brother you were his child. I didn’t want him to know about my affair with Thora.”
