2 Weeks Later.

Gabbie POV

I tiptoed on all four paws, trying to make it out of the dense forest. Howls and barks came from all angles. I could see my house surrounded by trees and illuminated by floodlights.

It was the last day of the full moon. A lot of the local wolves were going crazy. Kade and I went out last night and the night before that, but this night, he’d gone out with his buddies for a run in the woods and made me swear not to leave the house.

My mate might be an Alpha, but he was paranoid as hell. If I wanted to make it home before him, I probably shouldn’t be tiptoeing. I stood and looked around. The scent of wet dogs attacked me from all sides.

I started walking home. I paused when I heard a twig snap.

Oh crap.

It better not be an overexcited wolf looking for a good time because I’d been spoken for, for a long time. No one was there, so I continued walking.

“Shift,” the command came, and my limbs were fo
