Chapter 84

Gabbie POV

Emery and I sat in the living room having breakfast. She wasn’t home when I arrived at three in the morning but she was home when I woke up. I was at the breakfast, but my mind and heart were still with Kade. I could still feel his hands on my body from last night. His voice still echoed in my ear and it made me shiver. If I didn't snap out of it Emery would think I was crazy. 

I picked up the conversation.

“Meet anyone interesting last night?” I teased.

She eyed me dangerously. “I’m never going clubbing again.” She rubbed her forehead.

“I’ll take that as a yes,” I wiggled my brow.

"I've never drank so much before. Gosh, never again." She waved her hands in the air.

A knock came at the door and Emery stood.

“I’ll get it!” Emery said.

She yanked the door open and gasped.

“Kade," she gasped. "I mean Kaden Sanders… Alpha Kade?”

Kade leaned against the door frame and smiled.
