Gabbie POV

Alex got down on one knee. He was given a wooden bowl to drink from. The lady speaker said it was a liquid from the earth, blessed by the moon goddess and the Pack elders. It was supposed to give the High Alphas more power.

The three Alphas were going to get even more powerful than they already were. After Alex drank, he threw his head back, his arms stretched, and he roared viciously.

I flinched and shifted closer to Leiah.

After a couple of seconds, he fell forward and panted heavily.

“Alpha Kade, take your place,” the woman said.
