Mia sat alone in her room, playing with the strands of thread pulling out of her bedspread. She was bored and restless. After the celebration, Draco had settled into his role as ruler quickly, and it was then she knew he meant it when he had told her he was the alpha of the pack, who was like a king in human terms.

She lay back on the bed, stretching out and staring at the ceiling in her room. She missed him more than ever, and she had nothing to help her get over her misery as no one would let her touch anything.
