“It’s the older brother, he bought this house for us,” Ryan suddenly appeared behind Kaylin, happily explaining.

“Brother?” Kaylin turned around and asked.

“His name is Frede…”

“Ryan,” Carolina quickly stepped forward, pulling her brother. “You’re not hungry anymore, are you? Go clean up the leftover food on the table. I’ll talk to Kaylin for a bit.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

“Such a good boy.”

Ryan cleaned up the leftover food on the table while Carolina took Kaylin upstairs.

“There are some things that Ryan doesn’t understand, and it’s better if I explain them to him,” Carolina said calmly.

The two of them went upstairs to the living room, where Carolina poured a glass of water for Kaylin and then sat down next to her. She spoke calmly, “Kaylin, I have a boyfriend now, and he’s the one who bought this house for me.”
