Red’s luxurious sports car sped quickly through the streets, the countless lights behind fast fading away.
Carolina placed her hands on her intertwined thighs, filled with worry.
Red noticed her action and slightly smirked, “Why so tense? You seem very uptight.”
Carolina sighed, “I don’t know where you’re taking me.”
She turned to look at Red. Today, he was dressed in a leather jacket, his handsome face almost flawless, carrying a smile that could appear or disappear at will. He was handsome and wealthy. Any woman standing beside him would feel proud.
“Is it that you’re afraid I’ll eat you? I’m meeting some friends on the passenger ship tonight. I just wanted to bring along a woman, nothing more,” he said in a detached tone.
“Why not bring Mirian along to meet your friends? She’s your soon-to-be wife.”
Red chuckled softly, “There are some friends I don’t want her to get to know.”
