Chapter 27. You’re Special

Upon reaching the door, Evangeline couldn’t help but hesitate.

Would this guy take revenge on her? After all, she could still remember how he look at her when she slapped him that day.

“Miss Evangeline, please enter.” Beta Austin politely invited her.

Now, Evangeline felt that it was too late to run, anyway, since she was here, she just have to see what he was planning.

She took in a deep breath to calm herself down and entered, and Beta Austin heaved a sigh of relief now that he had completed his mission.

As soon as Evangeline entered, she was instantly grabbed by a large hand and was placed on the man’s lap.

She struggled to get up but he just wouldn’t let go and even though she felt uncomfortable, she didn’t have enough strength to refuse and could only resign to his action.

“May I know what you call me here for, Your Majesty?” She asked calmly and raised her head to look at him, meeting his black-red eyes that was glinting with interest.
