Evangeline’s heart, which was hanging in her throat, finally rested as she looked at Amelia and changed the topic.
“Have you bought everything?”
“Oh yeah!” Amelia nodded, causing Evangeline to heave a sigh of relief, and they started chatting about unnecessary things to calm the nerves and pass the time.
As the Alpha King’s birthday was the next day, the kitchen head maids didn’t punish them because they wanted to maintain a festive aura, but that didn’t stop them from getting scolded rather harshly.

Only the chefs and the kitchen maids had to work hard to prepare the meals, while the other borrowed maids were released.
