Chapter 30. The Party (2)
The person looking at her was a young man, probably in his early twenties. He had a gentle appearance, a pair of electric blue eyes, and slightly red lips. He didn’t avert her gaze when he saw her looking at him; instead, he smiled at her.
Evangeline nodded politely and averted her gaze. She was still eating the cake when she saw someone pulling the chair beside her, and glancing up, she saw the same man.
“Hi, beautiful lady,” he smiled, his eyes curving slightly, which made him look even more easygoing.
“Hi,” Evangeline replied indifferently.
“I am Frederick,” Frederick introduced, leaning over.
Evangeline didn’t bother about him and only nodded casually, without telling him her name.
Frederick wasn’t angry as he looked at her thoughtfully, his finger tapping his chin as he observed her beautiful side profile.
