Chapter 40. Damien’s Visit

“What do you mean?!” Beta Austin stared at him with his mouth agape.

“Exactly what I said,” Alpha King Damien repeated his words, tapping on the chair handle.

“You can clearly send someone else to go; why must you go there personally?” Beta Austin was puzzled.

A beautiful face appeared in Alpha King Damien’s mind.

For some reason, he had been thinking of the girl lately, and whenever he thought of her, a strange feeling always bloomed in his heart.

It was the kind he had never experienced, confusing him over and over again.

He wanted to sort out his feelings by leaving for a while; maybe he would be fine when he returned.
