Eros's POV
I couldn’t wait until the next day. What if fresh problems cropped up? I wanted to seek Anacá out right now. There wasn’t much time left with me. I wouldn’t let her file for divorce.
Sucking in a deep breath, I drove over to Josh’s house reluctantly. I hated going there repeatedly, but Anacá left me with no choice.
After ten minutes, I parked the car and walked up to the gates. Strangely, the house looked freshly renovated but deserted. Even their cars were missing from the garage. Did they not live here anymore?
I glanced around and noticed a middle-aged woman staring at me from the house next door. Did she consider me a trespasser? “Hello! Has the Hemmingway family gone somewhere?” I asked her, taking a step or two in her direction.
She nodded. “Yes, they’ve gone to Agapi Events on the next block for their son’s wedding.”
