Book 3: A Heartfelt Apology
Eros's POV
“Stop whatever you’re trying to do, Eros. My decision remains unchanged. I don’t care if my life is threatened. I refuse to live with you under the same roof.” She gave me an annoyed look, and I sighed helplessly.
“I’ll sleep in my office if that makes you change your mind and come home.” Stopping the car in front of her house, I turned to look at her. I could do anything to make her return home.
“This is my home, Eros. You blew everything up with your behavior. Nothing in the world will force me to go down that path again. I don’t care about Silas and his threat. He can kill me if he wants. I have nothing to live for.” She opened the door to leave, but I caught her hand to stop her.
“It’s okay if you don’t want to forgive me. But at least let me protect you from Silas. I don’t want him to abuse you the way he did to mamá. Please, Anacá, come to your senses. This is a serious threat, and my house is better protect
