Sophia's POV
Days passed, and the whole pack was still in shock over Jessica's death. We held a funeral for her, and it was the saddest day of our life. Mia stood far off from the group, tears streaming down her face as she remembered all the good times she spent with Jessica when she was still alive. I could tell she was feeling guilty about not being there to help her friend when she needed it the most.
As we buried Jessica's body, Derick gave a eulogy, speaking about how much Jessica had meant to us all, and how she would never be forgotten. I stood next to him, holding back tears as I listened to his words.
After the funeral, we all went back to our lives, but things were different. There was a heaviness in the air, and the pack was quieter than usual. I couldn't help but feel that we had lost a part of ourselves when Jessica died.
