Chapter 145. Dissatisfaction

“Alpha Hugh, I appreciate the reception you gave me but I know that my Luna is in this pack,” I said, not wanting to believe him when he said Iris had not visited him.

“Are you calling me a liar?” Iris’s uncle asked.

“I wouldn’t go that far but I have it on reliable authority that Iris Merryweather is here and I am not leaving unless I see her!” I insisted.

“This is my territory and you have no right to make demand!” he howled.

“I respect you, Alpha Hugh and don’t wish to make enemies with you or your pack but isn’t it against the werewolf laws for you to hoard another Alpha’s mate?” I asked, eyes glowing with barely suppressed fury.

I hadn’t slept a wink last night because I couldn’t stop thinking about her only to get here and be told by her uncle that Iris wasn’t there and I could smell her and her scent was causing me to go insane with need.

“Will you let her out quietly or are we going to do this the hard way?” I as
