Chapter 35. Loving You as Long as Time

Adrian’s POV

Andrew had loved Iris longer than even I had. I recall him always talking about some girl that he liked. A girl who was bold and noble. I had just thought he was talking about done random girl and after a while, he had stopped telling me about her, possibly because of my lack of interest.

I had thought he had forgotten about her until the day I met Iris. He had been broken. When I got home that day, he had locked himself up in his room. Of course he had gone home ahead of me and I had wondered why because we often did everything together since birth, seeing that there were just the two of us.

I tried opening the door but it was locked from within and I knocked.

“Go away!” he said, his words slurred.

Had Andrew been drinking? I thought to myself in alarm. If he had, then whatever had troubled him was very serious.

“Open the door, Andrew!” I ordered.

“Go away, Adrian. Don’t trouble me!” he said.
