Chapter 37. Acted Too Soon

Adrian’s POV

My mind was clouded with one desire and that was to taste her lips. So, I asked instead, “Do you still remember how it felt when we imprinted, the first day we met, at your birthday party?”

She looked at me shocked. It was obvious that she was not expecting that question. I knew the next question she was going to ask but I just could not help myself as I drew her into my arms and crushed my lips on hers.

Oh, God! I groaned inwardly, such soft lips, how I have missed this. I kissed her, growing more excited with each passing moment, until a stinging pain on my cheek brought me up, the sound of the slap resounding in my ears.

“How dare you do that?” she asked, enraged.
