“Do you really love Iris the way you would have me believe?” I asked. “Because if you do, then you might want to take your own advice and leave her be!”

Andrew looked at me shocked and angry. His reaction was confusing. It would have been understandable if I had not stumbled on that scene earlier.

That was why as we had our dinner, I couldn’t help looking at my younger brother and wondering how he became involved with the man I saw him with.

Just the other day, he had been angry that I wanted to pursue Iris again and I knew… had been sure that he had loved her from the start.
