Chapter 55. How’s This Even Possible?

Third-Person POV

Adrian had seen Andrew run in very agitated and had contemplated within himself if he should go and find out what the problem was and comfort him if need be. He was sure it had to do with Iris. He decided against it.

“He is not a baby any longer,” he told himself. “He might be my younger brother but he is a grown man who can tackle his own problems. Moreover, he might want to be alone right now and going to him might escalate the issue.”

He stood for a while thinking it over and was just about to go into his room when another very agitated person, though not panting laboriously as Andrew burst in and went straight into Andrew’s room.

“I take it back,” Adrian muttered to himself. “It wasn’t Iris. These two must have had a little lovers’ quarrel.” He scoffed and shook his head. “Iris, I am sorry for blaming you for this even before I was able to confirm my suspicions,” he said, addressing an absent Iris as though she was present.
