Chapter 30
At this point, both Black and Vidor shake their heads with regret.
"Later, Black took in disciples because he had no children. I thought I was wise and brought Atticus to Black, but he stole secret magic techniques and learned ancient art. Black warned me, but I thought he was just being envious of someone more talented than him."
Vidor looks at Black with deep remorse and continues.
"He came back, intending to marry Rabbit out of deep affection, but he conspired with members of the White family to harm Rabbit's father to death. And he even stole... the Soul Tower."
"What? The Soul Tower? Vidor, you've messed up this time." Black finally frowns and shows a severe expression as if reprimanding him.
"I..." Vidor struggles to speak.
Matthew, having heard the story, somewhat understands the situation. It seems that he and this Atticus person were both disciples of the same master.
