Gregory reacted the quickest, understanding the situation clearly. Corbin, however, refused to bend the knee, believing he had made the right choice: "Commander Maximilian, I still trust you." Corbin declared steadfastly.
"Good. Very good." Maximilian responded with a smug smile.
Matthew looked at the commander before him, extremely annoyed. As a soldier, if one wasn't humble, they should at least fulfill their duties. Why were there people like this?
"Hubert, I believe it's time for a change in the military structure. After all, the borders have stabilized, and restructuring is inevitable." Matthew said as he stroked the black glove in his hand, deep in thought.
"Anyway, this is a good place. Call them over." Matthew said, relaxing and sitting down in a dignified manner, his right leg resting on his left knee, looking very serious.
